Guide :Vacuums : F6212-900 / F6215-900 SteamVac Agility Upright Vacuum

Suction Mine doesn't actually say Agility on it, but looks identical to the blue one. Here's the problem: Last week, I attached the upholstery attachment to the back to shampoo the car. Worked great. I went to shampoo carpets today, and the main vaccuum part (is it called a hood?) won't suck up the water. not a drop. I cleaned out all the filters, made sure the door was closed where attachment hooks in, etc. The attachment will still suck up water, bu tnot the main vaccuum. I called the hoover store to ask for any trouble shooting advice. He said if the part wasn't on tight it wouldn't suck. Very vague, and didn't seem to want to give me more time... Help?
